Maserati has entered India’s performance-oriented luxury EV segment with its first-ever all-electric SUV, the Grecale Folgore, priced from Rs 1.89 crore (ex-showroom, India). The electric SUV is priced just below the range-topping Grecale Trofeo (Rs 1.96 crore) and slots into the existing lineup alongside the GT and Modena variants. In terms of rivals, the electric SUV goes up against established competitors such as the Porsche Macan EV, BMW iX, and Audi Q8 e-tron. The arrival of the Grecale Folgore signals Maserati’s strong commitment to an electrified future in India, delivering a compelling blend of Italian luxury, cutting-edge technology, and high performance. Let’s take a closer look at some of its key specifications.
The Grecale Folgore draws its energy from a 105kWh battery pack that feeds two electric motors, one on each axle, and churns out a maximum power output of 542bhp and a peak torque of 820Nm. This all-wheel-drive setup enables the SUV to sprint from 0–100km/h in just 4.1 seconds. It offers a claimed range of 501 kilometres on a single charge and a top speed of 220km/h.

In terms of charging, the SUV is compatible with 22 kW AC and 150 kW DC fast charging. It tips the scales at 2,480 kg.
The Grecale Folgore maintains the familiar silhouette of its petrol counterparts while adding a few EV-specific touches. The front end features the same low-set concave grille and Trident emblem. However, Folgore-specific details, including bronze-finished brake callipers, help it stand out.
Other highlights include exclusive badging on the fenders and tailgate, as well as bespoke alloy wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches. With 24 exterior colour options, the Grecale Folgore offers extensive personalisation.
