With Advanced Blue Link technology, the new 2020 Hyundai Verna is set to become the first fully-connected mid-size sedan in its segment.

Just two days back, Hyundai had released teasers of the upcoming Verna facelift. And now, we've received more information on its feature offerings. It's been confirmed that the Verna facelift will come with Hyundai's Advanced Blue Link connectivity suite - the word 'Advanced' indicates that it will get some extra features over the standard system.

The new bits include a system 'wake-up' phrase – Hello Blue Link – which activates the voice recognition system. Also, voice recognition has been further refined to incorporate a better understanding of commands spoken in multiple Indian accents (in English). The Advanced Blue Link suite will also come with the option of smartwatch connectivity (compatible smartwatches include those that run Google's Wear OS, Apple's watchOS and Samsung's Tizen OS). In addition, the voice command support has been upgraded to offer more services, such as updates on live cricket scores, real-time weather updates and information regarding Indian public holidays.
