New Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG Launched at Rs 9.14 Lakh; Claims 25.51km/kg Mileage

Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the all-new Brezza CNG in the Indian market. The CNG version of the Brezza comes in 4 trims - LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi dual-tone. The prices of the new model start at Rs 9.14 lakh for the LXi S-CNG variant and go up to Rs 12.05 lakh for the top-spec ZXi dual-tone unit. Whereas, the VXi and the ZXi variants stand at Rs 10.49 lakh and Rs 11.89 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom. The bookings for the new car are already underway. Interested buyers can book the CNG version of the compact SUV by visiting their nearest Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships. As of now, the carmaker offers 14 models with CNG options, including the new Brezza CNG. The latest Brezza CNG is available with premium features and has a fuel efficiency of 25.51km/kg.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG: Design, Features

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG looks identical to its ICE-powered counterparts in terms of design. However, it has reduced boot space owing to the addition of a factory-fitted CNG tank. The car sports an S-CNG badge just like the other Maruti Suzuki CNG cars. 

On the feature front, the Brezza CNG gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with SmartPlay Pro+, an Arkamys premium sound system with Surround Sense, connected car tech, OTA updates, keyless push start, cruise control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and more. In addition, users can also access a range of connectivity features via the Suzuki Connect platform. By the way, the Brezza CNG model has an electric sunroof. 

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG: Engine Details

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG is powered by a next-gen, K-series 1.5-litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. Onboard CNG, the engine develops 87bhp of power at 5,500rpm and 121.5Nm of peak torque at 4,200rpm. It is claimed to have a fuel efficiency of 25.52km/kg, somewhat similar to the Ertiga and the XL6 MPVs. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. 

Moreover, the new Brezza CNG comes packed with personalised CNG-specific features like integrated petrol and CNG fuel lid, CNG drive mode, digital and analogue CNG fuel gauges, and an illuminated fuel change.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG: Prices and Rivals

The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG retails between Rs 9.14 lakh and Rs 12.05 lakh, as against its petrol counterparts. The latter is priced between Rs 8.19 lakh and Rs 13.88 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The Brezza CNG takes on the likes of the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, and the Kia Sonet, which is likely to be offered with CNG.
