Renault Kwid, Triber, Kiger Night & Day Editions Launched in India, Prices Start at Rs 5 Lakh

Renault India has launched Night & Day Limited Edition versions of the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger. Over their respective standard models, the limited edition models add exterior enhancements and more features. Production will be capped at 1,600 examples for all three models combined. 

Bookings for the Renault Night & Day special edition models are now open. Interested buyers can make reservations by visiting their nearest authorised dealership in India. The price of the Renault Kwid Night & Day Edition remains the same as the Kwid RXL (O) variant it is based on, while the Kiger and the Triber Night & Day Limited Editions are available at Rs 6.75 lakh (starting price) and Rs 7 lakh, respectively – which is an increase of Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively, over the RXL manual variants. In an automatic guise, the Kiger Night & Day Limited Edition can be had at Rs 7.25 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.

Renault Night & Day Editions: Visual Changes

The Night & Day Editions feature a dual-tone Pearl White paint scheme with a contrasting Mystery Black roof. Other noticeable elements include blacked-out wheel covers, nameplates, grille inserts, ORVM (Kiger, Triber) covers, as well as piano black tailgate garnish (Kiger).

Renault Night & Day Editions: Features

Features-wise, the Kiger and Triber Night & Day Limited Editions offer a 9.0-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone replication and a rear-view camera. The Triber Night & Day special edition additionally comes with rear power windows.

Renault Night & Day Editions: Powertrain

Under the hood, the Renault Night & Day Editions pack the same engine options as their standard counterparts. The Kwid Night & Day gets a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, which delivers 67bhp and 91Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. The Kiger gets two engine options: a 72bhp 1.0-litre petrol unit with a 5-speed MT or an AMT gearbox and a 100bhp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol mill with a 5-speed manual or a CVT.

The Triber is powered by a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine making 72bhp and 96Nm of peak torque. On offer are 2 transmission options: a five-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.
