Renault will introduce the updated Triber MPV in India on July 23, marking the model’s first comprehensive revision since it was first launched in 2019. The facelifted version will retain its existing 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol (NA) engine, paired with either a five-speed manual or AMT transmission, while continuing to offer a CNG variant through dealer installation. Several recent spy photos point to several design tweaks, such as a reshaped grille, new LED headlamps and taillights, revised bumpers, circular fog lamps, and modified wheel designs. On the inside, notable upgrades are expected to include a bigger touchscreen infotainment system (around 8 inches), a digital instrument console, and added convenience features such as auto-on headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, and a 360-degree camera to enhance both safety and usability.
Renault is in the final stages of preparing a facelifted version of the Triber MPV, which will receive its first major overhaul since launch. The front design will be overhauled with a redesigned bumper, new circular fog lamps, a sharper grille, and updated headlights featuring integrated LED DRLs. At the rear, the facelift will bring revised alloy wheels and reshaped taillights for a cleaner, more modern appearance.

On the feature front, the Triber is expected to gain a redesigned dashboard layout. Upgrades may include a larger touchscreen infotainment system, likely paired with a digital instrument display. A 360-degree camera is also rumoured to be added. However, the MPV is expected to retain its flexible third-row setup, one of its standout traits, offering removable seats for added versatility.
Under the skin, no changes are expected. The current 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine will likely be carried forward, producing 72bhp and 96Nm. This will continue to be offered with 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options. The CNG-compatible version, available through dealerships, is also expected to remain part of the lineup.
Meanwhile, Renault is also working on a mild refresh for the Kiger compact SUV. Although a specific launch date hasn’t been revealed, minor design tweaks are expected. The Kiger will retain its current engine options. Visually, the signature triple-chamber LED reflector headlights are expected to stay the same, but fog lamps, introduced for the first time, could now include cornering lights.
