Skoda launches 'Clever Lease' monthly rental program for Rapid & Superb
Under the new 'Clever Lease' rental scheme, customers can select from three plans – Wet, Dry and Plain. The lease tenure can be 24, 36, 48 or 60 months with monthly rental starting from as low as Rs 22,850.

Skoda has launched ‘Clever Lease’ program for customers in India. The newly launched lease scheme will be available on the company’s Rapid and Superb models, with monthly rentals starting from as low as Rs 22,850. With the new lease plan, Skoda will cater to retail and corporate customers, including salaried individuals, working professionals, small and medium business enterprises, corporate entities, and public sector undertakings. In the first phase, the ‘Clever Lease’ services will be offered in 8 cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. It’ll be launched in other parts of the country in the coming months as part of Skoda’s INDIA 2.0 project.
For its lease services, Skoda has joined hands with Orix Auto, which has launched similar programmes with Volkswagen and Honda recently. Under the new lease scheme, customers can select from three plans – Wet, Dry, and Plain. The Wet plan includes the insurance, periodic maintenance, value-added services and accident repairs. In the Dry plan, insurance and accident repairs are included but maintenance and value-added services aren’t, while in the Plain plan, only the car’s lease rentals are covered. Everything else has to be taken care of by the lessee.
The lease tenure can be 24, 36, 48 or 60 months. At the end of the tenure, customers will have the flexibility to either return the car back to Orix/Skoda or buy it back at market value. The lease can be extended as well.
