The Tata Altroz Facelift has made its much-awaited debut in India with several notable upgrades both inside and out. One of the first noticeable changes inside the cabin is the new two-spoke steering wheel, which features an illuminated logo and revised button and toggle controls, replacing the previous three-spoke design. Externally, the front fascia now sports a sharper and more modern design. All of these updates, introduced more than five years after the Altroz’s initial launch in 2020, breathe new life into the moniker. Here’s a quick look at how the new Altroz differs from the outgoing version.
The new twin-pod LED headlights have replaced the older halogen projectors, accompanied by stylish eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs. The fog lamps now feature a refined pixel-style LED design, and there’s a prominent black trim that extends between them and along the lower bumper.
On the side, the flush-type illuminated front door handles and new dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels make the updated hatchback stand out from its predecessor. While the turn indicators are now mounted on the outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) instead of the front fenders, the new connected LED taillights give the rear a fresh, modern touch.
The updated Altroz now features a new black and beige interior colour scheme, in place of the previous black and white one. The multi-layered dashboard design is retained, but it now includes a large gloss black plastic trim with a copper accent for a more elegant touch.

The new beige seat upholstery adds to the cabin’s look. In terms of technology, the Altroz steps up with a larger 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, replacing the older 7-inch unit (now offered in lower variants). Although the 10.25-inch touchscreen is retained, it now features a more integrated design compared to the previous floating style.
The new Altroz also includes a blind spot monitor, which shows ORVM camera feeds on the digital driver’s display. Other than this, the hatch continues to offer features such as push-button start/stop, an 8-speaker sound system (with 4 tweeters), automatic AC with rear vents, and cruise control, ISOFIX, 6 standard airbags, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and ESC.
The engine options for the refreshed Altroz are likely to be the same as before: a 1.2-litre petrol (87bhp, 115Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel (88bhp, 200Nm).

The CNG variant will still be offered, while the turbo-petrol engine, currently available on the ‘Racer’ model, may join the lineup sometime later.
The Tata Altroz facelift hasn't launched in India yet, but given the numerous updates, a slight price increase over the previous-gen model (Priced between Rs 6.65 lakh and Rs 11.30 lakh) is anticipated.
