Safari-Stealth edition

Tata Motors has rolled out the exclusive Stealth Editions of the Safari and Harrier SUVs to mark 27 years of the Safari. The Harrier Stealth Edition is priced at Rs 25.09 lakh, while the Safari Stealth Edition, available in six-seater and seven-seater configurations, is set at Rs 25.74 lakh. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. Limited to just 2,700 units, these models boast a distinctive Stealth Matte Black finish and refined design elements. Bookings are now open through the brand's digital and physical sales channels. 

Speaking on the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, 'Tata Motors has long been at the forefront of the SUV segment in India, with innovation deeply embedded in its DNA. The Tata Safari, which introduced the concept of a lifestyle SUV to the Indian market, stands as a testament to this spirit of pioneering excellence. With 27 years of unbeatable legacy, the Tata Safari has continually evolved, and the launch of the Stealth Edition is a salute to the same. This special edition is a premium, exclusive release, with only 2,700 units of the enigmatic Stealth Matte Black finish being made available. The Stealth Edition is more than just an SUV – it is a statement of prestige, adventure, and capability, elevating it to an aspirational collector’s car that will be coveted by enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike. Owning a STEALTH Edition is not just about possessing an exceptional car; it is about securing a piece of automotive history that everyone will aspire to have in their garage.'

Aesthetic enhancements set the Stealth Edition apart, featuring a blacked-out front grille, an assertive matte black exterior, dark-themed badging, R19 black alloy wheels, as well as a distinctive Stealth mascot.

Inside, the cabin exudes elegance with a black leatherette dashboard and door trims highlighted by contrast stitching. It also features ventilated front and second-row seats in a Carbon-Noir theme, with second-row ventilation being exclusive to the Safari. Regarding the features, you receive a 12.3-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless charging pad, Map My India navigation, a JBL 10-speaker system with Harman AudioworX, ambient lighting, an integrated arcade app store for entertainment, Alexa Home-to-Car connectivity, multiple driving modes, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

On the safety front, the Stealth Edition is equipped with an electronic stability programme (ESP), a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and seven airbags. The SUV further prioritises occupant protection with a Level 2+ ADAS suite, offering 21 functionalities, including automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning.

Under the hood, the Stealth Edition is powered by the same 2.0-litre BS6 Phase 2 turbo diesel engine, generating 168bhp of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. Paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, the powertrain ensures a refined yet dynamic driving experience. The advanced suspension system further enhances ride comfort and stability across varying terrains.
