Tata Motors has released an official teaser for the upcoming micro SUV, the HBX, and has confirmed that it will be launched soon. Additionally, the Tata Tigor EV is all set to make its debut this month.

Tata Motors will launch the Tigor EV on the 31st of this month. And while we eagerly wait for the new electric compact sedan to hit the market, Tata has teased the upcoming HBX micro SUV. Tata confirms that the new HBX micro SUV will be unveiled soon. The launch is most likely scheduled for the festive season, with deliveries likely to commence soon after. Its pricing is expected to be between Rs 5 and 7 lakh (ex-showroom), just like that of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis.

Just recently, we brought you a spy shot of the upcoming Tata HBX. While the new micro SUV was under a camouflage wrap, the test mule did give us an idea of what to expect in terms of appearance and stance.

And now, the new teaser video of the HBX reveals some aspects of its styling, which seems similar to that of the Harrier and Safari. The fascia mainly includes a headlamp assembly integrated within a chunky bumper. The HBX will continue with eye-brow like DRL styling, which we have seen on the Harrier and the Safari.

The cabin features are expected to be on a par with the competition. The feature list of the HBX is likely to include automatic climate control, an all-digital instrument cluster, and projector headlamps. The Tata HBX is likely to debut with a petrol engine only. Tata Motors is likely to offer the HBX with an AMT as well. The HBX will most likely feature the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol unit that powers the Tiago and the NRG. The entry-level Tata HBX will be positioned below the recently launched 2021 Tata Tiago NRG in the brand's portfolio.
