Tata Nexon Facelift Spied

A test mule of the Tata Nexon facelift has been spotted doing testing rounds once again, but this time, the updated SUV has been spied partly undisguised. The Nexon facelift is anticipated to see its official reveal in the country in the coming weeks, followed by its launch. First things first, the front end of the Nexon will follow Tata's latest design language, which is also seen on the Punch SUV. While a previous set of spy images had revealed the Nexon sporting a sleek grille, LED daytime running lights, and vertical pod headlights, the latest spy shots showed off the car's front end in more detail. Based on the fresh spy shots, the test mule featured an updated front fascia with a slim grille flanked by LED DRLs, a split headlamp setup, a revised central air intake, a vertically stacked headlamp cluster, and a 360-degree camera.

When viewed from the side, the Nexon had new 16-inch alloy wheels and a sloping roofline. At the rear, the car seemed to receive a new bumper with black inserts, new LED tail lights, and a light bar on the boot lid.

Inside, the Nexon facelift is expected to come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital instrument cluster, a revamped 2-spoke steering wheel with a lit-up Tata logo in the centre, a new AC panel, and purple upholstery. The central console will include a rotary knob for selecting driving modes and a shorter gear shifter.

The ADAS suite, including lane change alert, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, door open alert, rear collision warning, and autonomous emergency braking, is also likely on the cards.
