Toyota Fortuner TRD Limited Edition Launched at Rs. 34.98 lakh

Toyota has launched the limited edition Fortuner TRD in India with two diesel variants to choose from – 4x2 AT and 4x4 AT. Prices for the Toyota Fortuner TRD limited edition range from Rs 34.98 lakh to Rs. 36.88 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Toyota Fortuner needs no introduction in our market –it's the default favourite of premium SUV buyers in the country. But post the nationwide coronavirus lockdown, sales have only picked up from 267 units in May to 713 units in June 2020. So as we await the July figures, Toyota India has officially launched a new limited edition version of the Fortuner to lure prospective customers. The new limited edition TRD model is on sale with the 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine in the 4x2 automatic and 4x4 automatic models.

Badged as the Toyota Fortuner TRD, this new model is much the same as Fortuner TRD Celebratory Edition, which was launched in September of 2019. When it comes to the exterior, the new model has the same dual-tone black roof and 18-inch black alloy wheels. It even has the same bumper design and dual-tone ORVM casings.

What's new about the car is the addition of a range of new features that include a heads up display, tyre pressure monitoring system, 360-degree parking camera, digital video recorder, auto-folding ORVMs, wireless smartphone, illuminated scuffle plate, and an air ionizer.
