June has ended with several special editions for the automotive sector, including the Honda City Sport and Citroen C3 Sport. Now, July is expected to witness some of the most anticipated car launches, such as the MG Cyberster, facelifted versions of the Renault Kiger and Triber, and the much-awaited Kia Carens Clavis Electric. We’ve put together a short yet informative list of cars expected to hit showrooms this month. So, without further ado, take a look.

Kia Carens Clavis EV

The electrified sibling of the Carens Clavis is set to go on sale in India on July 15, 2025. It is expected to have the familiar design, with a few EV-specific elements, including a front-mounted charging port positioned at the centre. Moreover, Kia could offer newly designed alloy wheels with aerodynamic styling to the upcoming variant. For now, there is no official confirmation, but market reports, however, suggest that the Carens Clavis EV may have two battery pack options, just like the Creta EV. Price-wise, the EV may fetch somewhere around Rs 17 lakh (starting, ex-showroom).

MG Cyberster

Bookings for the MG Cyberster are currently open for Rs 51,000, while the official price announcement is anticipated soon. The sports car has a low-profile front end with sleek LED headlights and integrated DRLs. The bonnet is contoured, and 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels contribute to the athletic stance. The e-sportscar has a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) system paired with a 77kWh battery, and an estimated range of 444 kilometres per charge.

The dual-motor setup offers a total output of 504bhp and 725Nm. The two-door sports cabriolet is expected to have a starting price of Rs 60 lakh in India (ex-showroom).

MG M9

While there is no official confirmation, JSW MG Motor India is also likely to introduce its second premium vehicle, the M9, in India. The car will be sold through the company’s 'Select' outlets, and is expected to start at around Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom). The MPV has a classic boxy silhouette, highlighted by an upright front end with LED lights, and headlamps integrated into the bumper, framed by a chrome outline that extends to the lower section. The MG M9 EV features a 90kWh battery delivering a WLTP range of 430 kilometres. The front-mounted motor produces 241bhp and 350Nm, offering front-wheel drive.

New BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe

BMW will reportedly introduce the updated 2 Series Gran Coupe in India this July. The 2025 model features improved driving dynamics, thanks to a stiffer chassis with multi-valve dampers, revised front axle geometry, and an updated rear anti-roll bar for better cornering stability. It will gain a new 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech that offers 168bhp and 280Nm, and enable a 0–100km/h sprint time of 7.9 seconds.

BMW is also likely to retain the 2.0-litre diesel option with 160bhp and 400Nm. With several upgrades, the model is likely to have a price tag of around Rs 46 lakh (ex-showroom).

Renault Kiger, Triber Facelifts

Based on the most recent sightings of camouflaged test mules, the facelifted Renault Kiger and Triber are expected to go on sale in India this month. The upcoming models will receive design and feature updates. However, they will remain the same on a mechanical front. The Kiger has two engine options: a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol (72 bhp) and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (100 bhp), available with both manual and automatic gearboxes.
