Following an action-packed January, February is expected to be a relatively moderate month for the auto Industry in 2026. Automakers like BMW, MG, and Nissan have some of the most anticipated launches in the pipeline. To help you stay informed, we have highlighted key specifications of these upcoming cars. Expected Price: Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom)
MG will launch the Majestor in India on February 12, 2026. First revealed in India at Auto Expo 2025, the SUV is based on the Maxus D90 sold in international markets. It will sit above the MG Gloster, and serve as the brand’s flagship model. Mechanically, the Majestor is expected to feature the familiar 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel motor that delivers 213bhp and 479Nm and is paired with an 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
Expected Price: Above Rs 80 lakh
BMW is set to reveal the prices of the BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro on February 16. However, interested buyers can place their pre-bookings from January 30, 2026, starting at 12:30 PM. The SUV is expected to arrive with a noticeably upgraded powertrain, offering improved performance over the outgoing version, although India-specific specifications are yet to be confirmed.
Globally, the X3 30 xDrive is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine combined with a 48V mild-hybrid system, producing 255bhp and 400Nm of torque. Power is distributed to all four wheels via BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive technology, enabling the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 6 seconds.

Expected Price: Rs 45 lakh
Volkswagen is gearing up to launch the Tayron R-Line in India soon. The model has already made its global debut and is positioned as a larger alternative to the sportier Tiguan R-Line.
Under the hood, the Tayron R-Line has the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the sportier Tiguan, which produces 201.2bhp and 320Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 7.3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 224km/h.

Expected Price: Rs 11 lakh
Nissan will showcase the Creta-rivalling Tekton SUV in India on February 4. The engine options for the SUV have not been disclosed yet, but the Japanese automaker has confirmed plans for a hybrid variant in the future, which could potentially share its specs with the upcoming third-generation Renault Duster.
