Kia Seltos Facelift

The Seltos, a very successful mid-size SUV from Kia Motors India, Hyundai's sibling company, will be launching its long-awaited makeover. The front fascia of the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift has been modified, and new headlights with updated daytime running LEDs and fog lamps have been added. The upcoming revamped version will also get a completely new front bumper with an expanded and redesigned silver skid plate. The Seltos facelift will add updated LED taillamps and a connected LED light strip that spans the width of the boot lid to the back.

Similar to its sibling, the Hyundai Creta, the all-new Seltos facelift is going to get a panoramic sunroof, which is one of the most noticeable tweaks. In the Seltos, the Korean carmaker currently only provides a sunroof with a single pane of glass. The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift will be distinct from the current model in that the instrument console and touchscreen infotainment system will be positioned differently in the cockpit. In terms of the powertrain options, the 1.5-litre petrol engine, which generates 115bhp and 144Nm of torque, and the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine, which offers 116bhp and 250Nm of peak torque, will both be carried over into the Seltos facelift. Also predicted from Kia is the return of the turbo-petrol engine in the Seltos, albeit tuned for 160bhp and 253Nm of torque rather than 140bhp and 242Nm. The new turbo-petrol engine may also be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox in addition to a 6-speed iMT.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto

Toyota's Innova Hycross MPV will be borrowed by Maruti Suzuki, rebadged, and sold as the company's flagship model through the Nexa chain of dealerships, to capitalise on the collaboration between both companies. The Invicto will go on sale on July 5, and the bookings for the same commenced on June 19 for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Powertrain-wise, the Invicto is anticipated to have 2.0-litre NA and 2.0-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine options, just like the Innova Hycross.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto

The new MPV will look similar to the Hycross in terms of aesthetics. The Toyota badge will now be replaced with the brand's logo on the front grille, which will be the key point of differentiation. A two-slat chrome grille with a hexagonal mesh design would be seen on the Maruti Suzuki MPV, according to prior spy images.

The cabin of the vehicle will probably differ from the Hycross when it comes to features and upholstery. Furthermore, the new model is likely to receive enhancements like ambient lighting, motorised Ottoman captain seats in the second row, a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors, and more. Price-wise, the brand-new model would cost more than Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Exter

Hyundai Motor India, the South Korean auto major, is going to launch the Exter, a brand-new micro-SUV, after the Invicto. On July 10, this new micro-SUV will be launched, going up against the immensely popular Punch micro-SUV from Tata Motors. This new model will have a contemporary style, offer a variety of amenities to entice purchasers, and be priced reasonably to quickly capture market share. It is anticipated that Hyundai would price the Exter between Rs 6 Lakh and Rs 10 Lakh (ex-showroom) when it launches.

Hyundai Exter

The only available powertrain for the Hyundai Exter is a 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine. This engine will have 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmission choices, with a maximum output of 114Nm and 83bhp. The Grand i10, the Grand i10 Nios, the Aura, and the naturally aspirated Venue all use the same engine that Hyundai also provides with other cars.

The C3 Aircross was unveiled by Citroen India in April this year, and the French manufacturer is probably going to put out prices next month. The C3 Aircross has a 7-seater configuration with the same structural foundation as the smaller C3. It belongs to the C-segment SUV category and will compete with vehicles like the Hyundai Creta, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Volkswagen Taigun, and the MG Astor once it is launched. It also rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the XL6 due to the third row that's been recently added to the upcoming car.
