Ather Energy will unveil its next-generation EL platform at Community Day 2025, slated for late August. Under the theme “Technology that works like magic,” the event will highlight the company’s push toward more adaptable and affordable electric vehicle architecture aimed at expanding its scooter lineup and reaching a wider audience. The EL platform is expected to underpin future models with lower entry costs. Visitors can also expect to see early concept vehicles built on EL, faster and more efficient Ather Grid charging stations, and the launch of Ather Stack 7.0 – the latest version of Ather’s proprietary software system. Now a key event on Ather’s calendar, Community Day 2025 is likely to mark a significant leap in the company’s technology, products, and user experience strategy.
Ather’s upcoming EL platform is positioned to be a critical component of its future lineup, aimed at expanding the company’s reach into more accessible price segments. At Community Day 2025, Ather will present several concept scooters built on this new architecture. While the company has not disclosed detailed specs, these concepts are expected to showcase enhanced styling and features.

Apart from the cutting-edge platform, Ather is also preparing to reveal an upgraded version of its Grid fast-charging system. The new chargers aim to improve speed and convenience over current units, which deliver rates of 1.5 km/min for Ather scooters and 1.2 km/min for Vida models using the brand’s open charging connector.
One of the most anticipated updates is Ather Stack 7.0, a major software revision expected to introduce new capabilities such as voice command integration and more robust over-the-air update functionality.

Community Day has become one of the most crucial yearly events for the Bengaluru-based manufacturer. In 2024, it drew attention with the roll out of the Rizta family scooter, the Halo smart helmet, and AtherStack 6.0, setting high expectations for what’s to come this year.
