The upcoming price hike will affect ex-showroom prices across the entire lineup, including sedans and SUVs such as the Audi A4, A5, A6, Q3, and Q3 Sportback.

Audi has announced that it will increase its car prices in India by up to 2% from April onwards, due to rising input costs and ongoing currency fluctuations. The revision will impact the ex-showroom prices across the entire lineup, which includes sedans and SUVs such as the A4, A5, A6, Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q7, Q8, and the RSQ8 Performance. While the percentage increase may seem modest, it could still lead to a noticeable rise in the final purchase price, particularly for buyers going for higher-end trims. Hence, if you are planning to buy an Audi in the near future, you should look to finalise your booking before the revised prices come into effect.
Commenting on this, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director, Audi India, said, ‘Due to recent rising input costs and currency fluctuations, we are implementing a price adjustment of up to 2% effective from April 01, 2026. We remain committed to minimising the impact of the price hike on our customers.’

Audi is all set to launch the SQ8 in India on March 17, 2026. Bookings for the performance-focused SUV are already open for a sum of Rs 5 lakh. While the upcoming model shares its V8 engine with the more powerful RS Q8, the unit in the SQ8 is tuned to deliver slightly lower output. In Audi’s India portfolio, the SQ8 will slot between the standard Q8, priced from Rs 1.13 crore, and the flagship RS Q8, which currently costs Rs 2.34 crore.
The upcoming SUV has a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that is tuned to produce 500bhp and 770Nm. It comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels, allowing the SUV to go from 0 to 100km/h in 4.1 seconds and attain a top speed of 250km/h.
