Bajaj Auto has announced its sales performance for May 2025, showing a modest but steady rise in overall two-wheeler volumes. The company, known for iconic names like the Pulsar and Chetak, saw domestic sales grow by 2%, reaching 1.91 lakh units. The standout, however, was in exports, which jumped by a robust 20% to 1.41 lakh units—up from 1.17 lakh units in May 2024. This combined performance pushed Bajaj’s total two-wheeler sales to 3.32 lakh units for the month, marking a healthy 9% year-on-year growth. In the commercial vehicle segment, Bajaj Auto witnessed a slight dip in domestic demand, recording 34,321 units in May 2025—a 7% decline year-on-year. However, this was offset by a strong surge in exports, which rose by 37% to 17,930 units, up from 13,094 units in the same period last year. Thanks to this export boost, overall commercial vehicle sales registered a 5% YoY growth, reaching 52,251 units compared to 49,841 units in May 2024.
Bajaj Auto posted domestic sales of 2.26 lakh units last month across its two-wheeler and commercial vehicle range, showing minimal year-on-year movement with a marginal increase of just 646 units. In contrast, export figures delivered a strong performance, jumping 22% to 1.59 lakh units from 1.30 lakh in May 2024. This surge in overseas demand helped lift the company’s total sales for the month to 3.85 lakh units, translating to a solid 8% growth over the 3.55 lakh units sold in the same period last year.

In the commercial vehicle space, domestic demand softened by 4% with 66,321 units sold, while exports saw robust growth of 23%, climbing to 33,803 units from 27,428 units last year, underscoring continued strength in international markets.
