Garware launches self-healing paint protection film

The company claims that the paint protection film has been developed to protect the vehicle from scratches, bird droppings, damages from road debris and rocks, and colour fading. This paint protection film is priced at Rs 675 / sq. ft.

Cars look best when they are shiny and scratch-less. Keeping them as good as new, especially the paint, can be quite a task, especially if you drive in busy cities like Mumbai, Delhi or Bengaluru. It can be extremely annoying when some menacing halfwit leaves a scratch on your impeccably maintained car. It seems Garware Polyster Ltd has a solution for this problem.

The Aurangabad-based company has now launched a self-healing paint protection film. Manufactured, using a specially developed Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), this paint protection film promises to protect the car’s paint from scratches, bird droppings, tree sap and even colour fading. The film is easy to install and can be easily removed without damaging the original paint of the vehicle. Garware has priced this paint protection film at Rs 675/ sq. ft. Vehicle owners can opt for a full body application or even select body parts that are prone to scratches like the front and rear bumpers, wheel arches, ORVM casings and others.

Garware is in the process of training personnel on how to install the film on the car. A typical installation on the whole car could take a full day. The company will provide 3 year warranty on the film and the installation. Aside from rolls of this paint protection films that can be installed on any car, Garware will also bring in specialised kits for popular cars.
