Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Special, Nightster, and More Attract Discounts of up to Rs 5 Lakh in October

With the onset of the festive season, a range of car and bike manufacturers recently rolled out attractive discount offers. The latest addition to this list of brands is the premium bikemaker, Harley-Davidson. The Indian arm of the American firm has announced enticing discount offers reaching up to Rs 5 lakh on select models. The Nightster, the Pan America 1250, and the Sportster S are the products that make up the list of models eligible for the ongoing festive discounts. It is significant to take note that these deals are time-limited and only apply to the year 2022 models. Meanwhile, the deliveries of the Harley-Davidson X440 are currently underway in India. The price range of the bike starts at Rs 2.40 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.80 lakh. Both are ex-showroom figures. Customers who are interested in purchasing the new X440 can make a reservation at any authorised Harley-Davidson showroom or at a few Hero MotoCorp outlets across the country. Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 

The Pan America 1250 receives the largest price drop of Rs 4.90 lakh as part of the ongoing discount offers. The only ADV in the company's lineup is now available for Rs 16.09 lakh instead of Rs 20.99 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom. The bike comes equipped with a 1,252cc V-Twin liquid-cooled engine, which generates 151bhp of maximum power at 8,750rpm and 128Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. The transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox. 

A variety of electronic aids, such as lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, an electronically linked brake system, hill hold control, cruise control, and engine braking control are included with the adventure tourer. It further has 5 riding modes, out of which three are customisable. With 47mm USD front forks and electronically adjustable semi-active mono-shock suspension at the rear, the Pan America 1250 Special has top-notch suspension. At the front are radially mounted monoblock, four-piston callipers, and at the back is a floating, one-piston calliper.

Harley-Davidson Nightster 

With a discount of Rs 4.30 lakh, the ex-showroom asking price for the Nightster has decreased from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 10.69 lakh. The Revolution Max 975T engine from the firm, a liquid-cooled 975cc V-Twin, powers the Nightster. The engine has variable valve timing, dual overhead cams (DOHC), and maintenance-free hydraulic valve lifters. It churns out 95Nm of torque at 5,000rpm and 89bhp of power at 7,500rpm. This unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox. 

The suspension system consists of two outboard shock absorbers with pre-load adjustment at the back and 41mm Showa Dual Bending Valve conventional forks up front. The rear wheel's size is 16-inch, while the front wheel measures 19-inch. For braking duties, a 320mm front disc with a single axially-mounted four-piston calliper and a 260mm disc with a single-piston calliper are employed at the front and rear wheels, respectively. The Nightster boasts a variety of features and equipment, including three riding modes—Road, Sport, and Rain—a switchable traction control system, ABS, and drag-torque slip control. Additionally, there is an analogue speedometer, a 4-inch LCD instrument panel, all-LED lighting, and Harley's Daymaker LED headlamp.

Harley-Davidson Sportster S

The Sportster S is now being offered at Rs 12.06 lakh as opposed to its earlier price of Rs 16.51 lakh. Both figures are ex-showroom. This represents a discount of Rs 4.45 lakh. The bike is propelled by a 1,252cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This motor, which is coupled to a six-speed transmission, is callibrated to develop a maximum power output of 120.6bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 125Nm at 6,000rpm. The claimed fuel efficiency of the engine stands at 19.60km/l.

Full LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display that works with a precise smartphone application, a USB charger, and different rider aids are just a few of the amenities that the Sportster S offers. Other features include lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, wheel lift mitigation, and cornering drag-torque slip. Apart from this, the Bluetooth module enables access to phone calls, music, and navigation.
