Honda sold 5,124 units in June 2025, with 4,618 domestic and 506 exports. It plans to launch 4 new SUVs in India by 2030, including a new electric SUV.

Honda Cars India sold 5,124 units in June 2025. Out of these, 4,618 were sold in India and 506 were exported. This is lower than May 2025, when the company sold 5,985 units. While domestic sales improved, exports fell sharply. Honda is adjusting to market changes and getting ready to launch new products in the coming months. Honda has big plans for the future. It aims to launch four new SUVs in India by 2030. Earlier, the Elevate EV was expected to lead this line-up, but it has now been dropped. Instead, Honda will bring a new electric SUV, likely the e:NY1 sold overseas. This shows Honda’s focus on electric vehicles for the Indian market.

Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, 'Given the ongoing market conditions and cautious consumer sentiment, we continued to strategically moderate our dispatches this month to maintain optimal inventory levels across our network. We remain optimistic about a gradual improvement in demand in the coming months, supported by encouraging monsoon and the upcoming festive period.'
Honda has launched a new version of its popular sedan, the City Sport Edition, priced at Rs 14.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This limited-run model comes with a CVT gearbox and is available in three colours: Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Meteoroid Grey Metallic. It offers a fresh, sporty look for City fans.

The City Sport Edition runs on a 1.5-litre petrol engine that works with E20 fuel. It delivers 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. With paddle shifters and a CVT, it promises smooth performance. Honda has also added safety features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist through its Honda Sensing system.
