The latest model to join this list is the Aura sedan which is available in five trim levels: E, S, SX, SX(O), and SX+. As of this month, the E petrol variant of the Aura is witnessing the longest waiting period, reaching up to 30 weeks or 8 months. The SX(O) petrol version comes next in line with a waiting duration that goes up to 26 weeks or 7 months. The buyers will have to wait up to 18 weeks or 5 months for the remainder of the petrol versions. Hyundai Aura: Engine and Transmission Options

The 1.2-litre engine that powers the 2023 Aura is unchanged mechanically. This engine can churn out a maximum of 82bhp and 114Nm of peak torque when mated to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. The sedan's 1.2-litre petrol engine only has a 5-speed manual gearbox and produces 68bhp of peak power and 95Nm of maximum torque. It further comes with a factory-installed CNG kit. All powertrains are currently E20 fuel-ready and RDE-compliant. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which earlier had a maximum output of 99bhp and 172Nm of torque, is no longer available.

Hyundai Aura: Design Highlights

As far as the exterior of the sedan is concerned, it sports a Black radiator grille and LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) on the front bumper. The revised front bumper gives the Aura a wider stance. Besides, the R15 Diamond Cut Alloy wheels on the facelifted model add to the sedan's allure. The chrome door knobs on the outside only serve to emphasise it. The car's rear wing spoiler gives it a sportier, and bold appearance, while the rear chrome adds a more elegant touch. In addition, the compact Hyundai vehicle can now be had in a Starry Night colour option which was introduced with the updated version in January this year.

Hyundai Aura: Interior and Safety Feautres

Moving on to the interior features offered on the Aura sedan, it boasts an extensive set of amenities including an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, movable rear headrests, automated climate control, and a wireless charger. The cabin of the redesigned Aura has new seat fabric with a streamlined pattern and style.

The sophisticated fabric upholstery with the Aura logo, a gear knob finished in chrome, the leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, the parking lever tip, and the metal-finished interior door handles all add to the appeal. Higher-spec versions, on the other hand, include Type-C charging ports, an enhanced 3.5-inch MID in the instrument cluster, and improved footwell illumination.

The protection of the driver and passengers is ensured with the help of several safety systems like four airbags, ABS, and EBD. The top-of-the-line variants, meanwhile, offer six airbags, ESC, ISOFIX anchors, hill-hold assist, and automated headlamps.
