JK launches 'Ranger' series of premium SUV tyres

JK Tyre has launched the ‘Ranger’ line of premium SUV tyres at the Off-Road Expo in Goa. The company offered an experiential off-road drive to let people test the full capabilities of its newly designed tyre.

The Ranger series utilizes full depth grooves and has a uniquely designed sidewall to offer maximum grip in all terrains. Ranger tyres will be available in two specialised applications, Ranger A/T - for all-terrain performance and Ranger H/T - for tarmac application.

Sharing his views on the launch, Mr. Vivek Kamra, President – India Operations, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd said, “Technology & R&D have been the driving forces at JK Tyre. JK Tyre promises that the Ranger’s A/T series decelerates from 100 kmph to zero in just four seconds. In wet conditions, a car fitted with JK’s Ranger A/T tyres stops from 80 kmph in the same time.
