Kawasaki has rolled out a notable discount on its middleweight sportbike, the Ninja ZX-4R, offering benefits of up to Rs 40,000 for May 2025. This limited-time offer applies to the standard variant of the bike and is available through select dealerships across India. Following the discount, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R is now priced at Rs 8.39 lakh (ex-showroom), reduced from its previous price of Rs 8.79 lakh (ex-showroom). This promotion is available until the end of May 2025 or while stocks last. The move is likely aimed at boosting sales and clearing inventory, especially as newer models or updates are expected later in the year. The ZX-4R, known for its high-revving 399cc inline-four engine and aggressive track-focused dynamics, now becomes a more attractive proposition for enthusiasts looking for performance without stretching their budget.
Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX-4R enters the Indian market as one of the brand’s most accessible inline-four supersport motorcycles, sitting below the ZX-6R in the lineup. It stands out for being one of the few small-capacity four-cylinder bikes available in the country.

Powering the ZX-4R is a high-performance 399cc inline-four engine, liquid-cooled and capable of producing 75.9 bhp at 14,500 rpm and 39 Nm at 13,000 rpm. It’s paired with a six-speed transmission for smooth and precise gear shifts.
The chassis is built around a strong yet lightweight trellis frame. Front suspension travel is rated at 120mm, while the rear offers 112mm. Braking hardware includes twin 290mm front discs and a 220mm rear disc, all working with 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 120/70-ZR17 front and 160/60-ZR17 rear tyres. Dual-channel ABS comes standard.
The bike has a wheelbase of 1,380mm, a ground clearance of 135mm, and it weighs 189 kg with a 15-litre fuel tank. The seat height is set at 800mm, making it manageable for a range of riders.
Kawasaki offers several optional accessories to enhance practicality and safety, including frame sliders, a USB charger, quickshifter, pillion seat cowl, tank bag, helmet lock, radiator guard, and a taller windshield.
