Kia India's May '25 sales jumped 14.43% year-over-year, hitting 22,315 units, thanks to the new Carens Clavis and its strong model lineup.

Kia India recorded a strong performance in May 2025 with domestic sales reaching 22,315 units, marking a 14.43% year-on-year growth compared to 19,500 units sold in May 2024. This steady growth reflects Kia’s rising popularity in the Indian automotive market, driven by its diverse product lineup and focus on offering value-packed, feature-rich vehicles that meet evolving consumer preferences.
The launch of the new Kia Carens Clavis has been well-received by Indian customers, adding fresh momentum to Kia’s growth in the country. Its success underlines Kia’s commitment to innovation and its ability to cater to market demands. Kia’s current India portfolio includes the EV9, EV6, Carnival, Carens, Sonet, Seltos, Syros, and the new Carens Clavis—offering a wide range of options across fuel types and body styles.

Kia India is expanding its electric vehicle (EV) lineup with the upcoming launch of the Carens Clavis EV in July 2025, followed by the Syros EV. These new EV models are part of Kia’s long-term strategy to promote sustainable mobility in India. By increasing its EV offerings, Kia aims to meet the growing demand for environment-friendly vehicles and strengthen its presence in the electric vehicle segment.
