KTM India has increased the prices of its popular RC sportbike lineup, specifically the RC 200 and RC 390. This price adjustment follows the implementation of updated engines in both models to meet the latest OBD-2B emission standards. It's important to note that beyond these engine upgrades, the design and mechanical features of both motorcycles remain consistent with their previous iterations. This price revision isn't isolated to the RC series, as KTM India had also previously increased the price of the 250 Duke by Rs 5,000.

The KTM RC 200 has seen a price rise of Rs 11,000. Its new ex-showroom price is Rs 2.32 lakh. It continues to be powered by a 199.5 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, offering 24.65 bhp and 19.2 Nm of torque. The bike is still available in two colour variants—blue and black—with no changes to its sporty appearance.

The KTM RC 390 now costs Rs 3.23 lakh after a price increase of Rs 5,000. This model retains its 373.27 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 43 bhp and 37 Nm of torque. Just like the RC 200, the RC 390 only gets an engine update, with no changes to styling or features. It remains available in orange and blue colours.

Despite the price hike, both the KTM RC 200 and KTM RC 390 keep their original features, bodywork, and performance. The price change is linked only to the engine upgrade to meet OBD-2B emission standards, with no added features or design changes in the 2025 versions.

For Indian buyers looking at premium entry-level sportbikes, this price revision may influence decisions. While KTM ensures its bikes follow the latest emission norms, the lack of new features with the increased cost may affect value-conscious riders in India’s competitive two-wheeler market.
