Mahindra delivered 10,000 XUV 9e and BE 6 EVs in 70 days, with 30,179 bookings. Both e-SUV models offer premium features and 5-star safety.

Mahindra & Mahindra has hit a major milestone in India’s electric vehicle (EV) market by delivering 10,000 units of its electric SUVs—the XEV 9e and BE 6—within just 70 days of launch. The Mahindra XEV 9e is priced between Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 30.50 lakh, while the Mahindra BE 6 ranges from Rs 18.90 lakh to Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Both models are positioned competitively in the growing electric SUV segment in India. Deliveries began on 20 March, and combined bookings have now reached 30,179 units. In April alone, Mahindra delivered 3,000 electric SUVs, with the XEV 9e accounting for 59% of total bookings and the BE 6 making up 41%. Most customers opted for the top-tier “Pack Three” variant across both models.

The Mahindra XEV 9e offers two battery pack options—79 kWh and 59 kWh. The 79 kWh battery delivers an ARAI-certified range of 659 km, while real-world driving typically exceeds 500 km. The 59 kWh variant still provides a certified range of 542 km. The Mahindra BE 6 is also offered with two battery options—79 kWh and 59 kWh. The 79 kWh battery offers an ARAI-certified range of 682 km, while the 59 kWh option provides 557 km.
Both Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 are equipped with premium features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and up to seven airbags.

The XEV 9e includes a triple-screen setup, while the BE 6 features dual 12.3-inch displays. Both SUVs have earned a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, reinforcing Mahindra’s focus on safety and innovation in the electric vehicle space.
