Maruti Suzuki has established its 5,000th service touchpoint in Gurugram, India, marking a significant milestone. The brand's goal to provide an easy car ownership experience is demonstrated in its extended network, which now covers 2,500 cities across the country. Maruti Suzuki opened its first service outlet in 1983 and added 1,000 centres by 1997. It gradually expanded the network with 2000, 3000, and 4,000 touchpoints over 7, 8, and 9 years, respectively. Notably, the company added the last 3,000 service centers in three years. In the fiscal year 2023–24, the carmaker opened 400 service stations, the majority of which are located in non-urban areas. This emphasises the company's goal of improving accessibility for customers in remote regions. With its extensive network, Maruti Suzuki claims that it repaired 25 million vehicles in the last fiscal year.
