Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Swift, Alto and More Get Discounts of up to Rs 57,000 in August

Automobile enthusiasts have another reason to celebrate as Maruti Suzuki has rolled out its monthly discounts for August. The offers, which can be availed in the form of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, as well as corporate benefits, are ideal for budget-conscious and car aficionados alike, providing a fantastic chance to boost savings while driving away in their desired vehicles. Notably, the leading auto major is providing a variety of alluring offers of up to Rs 57,000 on its Arena lineup of cars, which are sure to excite those looking to buy a car. The models eligible for the discount offers include- the Swift, the Alto 800, the Alto K10, the Wagon R, the S Presso, the Celerio, and more. Let's now take a look at all the available offers for each of the mentioned models.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R

A total discount of up to Rs 51,000 is being offered by Maruti Suzuki on all 1.0- and 1.2-litre petrol Wagon R versions with manual transmissions. The CNG-powered VXi and LXi models can be purchased with benefits of up to Rs 51,000, whereas discounts of up to Rs 26,000 are offered on the petrol AGS variants with an automatic one.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10

The popular Alto K10 receives discounts totalling Rs 57,000 for all manual transmission versions, Rs 32,000 for automatic transmission versions, and Rs 52,000 or more for CNG models. The hatchback was launched by the carmaker in August last year. It is driven by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder K10C petrol engine that puts out 66bhp and 89Nm of maximum torque.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800

The discounted price for the remaining inventory of the discontinued Alto 800 is up to Rs 15,000, which is half of what was provided in July 2023. Except for the STD, all variations are eligible for the offer. Furthermore, savings of up to Rs 15,000 are offered on all CNG-powered models.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio

Maruti Suzuki is providing discounts on the manual petrol and CNG variants of the Celerio for this month, ranging up to Rs 56,000. The AMT-equipped models, however, receive discounts of up to Rs 41,000, which is Rs 10,000 more than what was provided last month. A 5-speed manual or AMT transmission is an option for the Celerio's 1.0-litre petrol engine, which produces 66bhp of peak power. 

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

For August, the Dzire's AMT and MT models are both eligible for discounts of up to Rs 10,000, but the CNG variants are not eligible for any discount offers. The sedan houses the same 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine with 89bhp that the Swift has, and it may be coupled to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. As far as the market competition is concerned, the Dzire rivals the likes of the Tata Tigor, the Hyundai Aura, and the Honda Amaze.

Maruti Suzuki Swift

For all petrol-manual Swift models, a total discount of up to Rs 57,000 is offered. The LXi manual and petrol automatic models, nevertheless, only qualify for discounts of up to Rs 52,000. On the contrary, savings of up to Rs 22,000 are available for the Swift powered by CNG. A 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission is available for the Swift's 89bhp, 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine. It competes with vehicles like the Tata Tiago and the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.

Maruti Suzuki S Presso

With a manual transmission, all Maruti Suzuki S Presso models fuelled by gasoline or CNG receive net discounts of up to Rs 56,000. On the other hand, savings of up to Rs 32,000 are offered on models with automatic transmissions. For the uninitiated, a more fuel-efficient 66bhp K10C engine and new safety systems, including ESP, which is mandatory on automatic versions, were added to the S Presso in July last year.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco

The Eeco, which received an update in November last year that included a new engine and additional features, receives a total discount of up to Rs 39,000 on its petrol-powered models. The overall reduction for the CNG-equipped models is up to Rs 33,100.
