Ola Electric has launched a new service called Hyper Delivery, designed to significantly reduce the time between purchase and ownership by offering same-day registration and handover of its electric scooters. Initially introduced in Bengaluru, this express service will be gradually rolled out across other parts of the country over the course of the quarter. Customers can now complete the entire transaction – either online or at an Ola Electric outlet – and take home the registered vehicle within hours. This initiative reflects Ola’s broader commitment to end-to-end digitalisation and operational self-reliance. By leveraging artificial intelligence, the company has streamlined and internalised the vehicle registration process, eliminating the need for third-party agents. This automation cuts through processing delays, delivering a faster and seamless customer experience.

Sharing his thoughts on the service, an OLA spokesperson commented, 'We have significantly cut the processing time of registering the vehicles through Al-led automation and by moving the registration process completely in-house. We are excited to announce #HyperDelivery, which has completely transformed the vehicle purchase & delivery experience in the automotive segment. With this, we are ensuring a much smoother purchase experience for our customers, eliminating tedious purchase processes and longer delivery timelines.'

Ola S1 Gen 3 Electric Scooters Deliveries Commence

Ola Electric has officially commenced deliveries of its third-generation S1 electric scooters, including the S1 X, S1 Pro, and S1 Pro+. The price range for the Gen 3 series starts at Rs 80,000 and extends up to Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest Gen 3 scooters come with significant enhancements over their predecessors, featuring a more streamlined design, improved energy efficiency, and a sturdier build with an integrated battery pack.

Built on a next-generation platform, these scooters offer a 20% boost in both peak power and range while simultaneously reducing manufacturing costs by 11%. They also incorporate advanced features like dual-channel ABS and Ola’s exclusive brake-by-wire system for enhanced braking performance.

The Ola S1 Pro is available in two battery configurations – 4kWh and 3kWh – both powered by a 14.75bhp mid-drive motor. The 4kWh model delivers a top speed of 125km/h with an IDC-certified range of 242 km, while the 3kWh variant achieves a top speed of 117km/h and a range of 176 km. Both versions can accelerate from 0 to 40km/h in just 2.7 seconds.

For those seeking more performance, the S1 Pro+ features a stronger 17.43bhp motor and comes in 5.3kWh and 4kWh battery options. The higher-capacity 5.3kWh variant reaches a top speed of 141km/h and offers a range of 320 km, whereas the 4kWh version delivers a maximum speed of 128km/h with a 242 km range. Acceleration from 0 to 40km/h is even quicker—2.1 seconds for the 5.3kWh model and 2.3 seconds for the 4kWh version.

The entry-level S1 X is available with 4kWh, 3kWh, and 2kWh battery packs, all paired with a 9.38bhp motor. The 4kWh model achieves a top speed of 123km/h and a 242 km range, while the 3kWh variant delivers 115km/h and 176 km of range. The most affordable 2kWh version reaches a top speed of 101km/h with a range of 108 km. Acceleration from 0 to 40km/h varies across these models, taking 3.0, 3.1, and 3.4 seconds, respectively.
