Tata Curvv

The Curvv is anticipated to go on sale soon, although an official launch date has not yet been disclosed. The EV variant will arrive followed by the ICE version. The former (EV) is expected to be available in both single and dual-motor versions, with front- or all-wheel drive options and a range of 400 to 500 kilometres on a single charge. On the other hand, the latter (ICE version) will likely have the same powertrain choices as the Nexon, which consist of a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine (113bhp/260Nm) and a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit (18bhp/170Nm). The transmission options comprise a 6-speed AMT, a 6-speed manual, and a 7-speed DCT. In terms of price, the petrol-powered Curvv may cost between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 11 lakh, while the EV variant could fetch a higher price tag of Rs 20 lakh.

Tata Altroz Racer

The new hatchback will be launched in India on June 7, with a slew of cosmetic and interior enhancements over the standard Altroz. According to the leaked specifications, it will employ the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine as the Tata Nexon. The transmission, however, will only be a 6-speed manual.

The hatchback will have a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, six airbags, a 360-degree surround camera, voice-activated sunroof, rear AC vents, a wireless charger, a heads-up display, and ventilated front seats, among other amenities.

Mechanically, the vehicle will be equipped with a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a factory-installed twin-cylinder CNG kit. Though power and torque ratings are yet to be provided, they are expected to be lower than the petrol-powered model (118bhp and 170Nm).
