Royal Enfield Clocks 2% Year-on-Year Total Sales Growth in November

In November 2024, Royal Enfield sold 72,236 units in the domestic market, which is a YoY decline of 4%. However, exports were 10,021 units, a whopping 96% rise over the 5,114 units shipped in November 2023.

Royal Enfield sold 82,257 units in November of this year, representing a 2% increase over the previous year’s 80,251 units. Of this total, 72,236 units were supplied in the domestic market, which is a 4% drop year-on-year. However, exports were 10,021 units, a whopping 96% rise over the 5,114 units shipped in November 2023. Royal Enfield recorded a 4% increase in sales between April and November 2024, with 6.47 lakh units sold in total. While the global shipments rose by 29% to 62,646 units, the domestic sales jumped by a small 2% to 5.84 lakh units. This success indicates the brand's strong market presence both globally and in India.

Commenting on sales, B Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield, said 'November has been an incredible month for us at Royal Enfield, filled with exciting launches that truly reflect our passion for pure motorcycling. At EICMA 2024, we took a historic step into the world of EVs with the debut of the Flying Flea, a big leap toward sustainable, forward-thinking mobility. We also introduced two stunning motorcycles, the Classic 650 and the Bear 650 that continue to build on our legacy of creating timeless, purposeful machines. Not only that, at Motoverse 2024, we launched the Goan Classic 350 and Scram 440 and both these motorcycles have garnered great response from motorcycling enthusiasts across the country.'

Royal Enfield Sales October 2024: Quick Recap

Royal Enfield delivered over 1.10 lakh units in October of this year, marking a year-on-year growth of 31%. The international deliveries were 8,688 units, a huge 150% growth. The local sales, on the other hand, stood at 1.02 lakh units, showing a 26% gain year-on-year. On Year-to-Date basis, Royal Enfield had a marginal rise of 3% with 5.13 lakh units sold in the domestic market in FY25. It exported 52,624 units, exhibiting a 21% YoY rise. Overall, the company supplied 5.65 lakh units in FY25, representing a growth of 4%.

Recent Launches/ Debuts

At the 2024 Motoverse event, Royal Enfield launched the Goan Classic, with a starting price of Rs 2.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The bobber-styled machine has two variants and is based on the Classic 350. It stands out with a tall ape-hanger handlebar and a split seat design with a floating unit for the pillion. The bike comes in four colours: Trip Teal, Rave Red, Shack Black, and Purple Haze. The Rave Red is a dual-tone hue, while the other colours are in a single tone.

The company also introduced the Scram 440 with a more potent engine than its predecessor, the Scram 411, at the event. Unlike the latter, the new bike is available in two different versions: Trail and Force. The latter is distinguished by its cast aluminium alloy wheels and tubeless tyres.
