This marks a 34% year-on-year increase in sales, driven by strong demand in both domestic and global markets, as well as the launch of new models. Key milestones include the Hunter crossing 5 lakh units sold and the Super Meteor 650 exceeding 50,000 units. The brand's domestic sales reached nearly 9.03 lakh units, while exports grew by 37%, totaling 1.07 lakh units. Last month, we saw a particularly strong performance, with total sales up 34% year-on-year, hitting 1.01 lakh units. In comparison, March 2024 recorded 75,551 total units sold. Domestic sales rose by 33%, reaching 88,050 units, up from 66,044 units in March 2024. Exports in March 2025 saw a 36% increase, with 12,971 units exported, compared to 9,507 units in March 2024.

Meanwhile, in the 2025 India Two-Wheeler Initial Quality Study (2WIQS) conducted by J.D. Power, Royal Enfield ranked highest in overall two-wheeler initial quality with a score of 68 PP100. Sharing his thoughts on the study, Atsushi Kawahashi, Senior Director at J.D. Power Japan, stated, 'Measuring new-vehicle quality in India is crucial for automakers aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and brand reputation. Leveraging these insights for proactive quality improvements can enhance resale value, lower warranty expenses, and strengthen competitive positioning for India’s two-wheeler manufacturers.'

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is a more robust and powerful bike, heavily inspired by the design of the Classic 350. It retains key elements such as angular side panels, a round headlamp with pilot lights, a circular taillight, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and twin peashooter exhausts. This offering becomes the sixth model in the lineup built on the 650 Twin platform, continuing the aesthetic legacy of the Classic 350.

The bike is equipped with a 648cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine that generates 46.3bhp and 52.3Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The Classic 650 shares the same frame and brakes as the Shotgun 650 but sets itself apart with 19/18-inch wire-spoke wheels, while the Shotgun is equipped with an 18/17-inch alloy wheel configuration.

Coming to the feature set, the motorcycle includes dual-channel ABS, adjustable levers, Tripper Navigation, LED headlamp, and a Type-C USB charging port.
