SMK Nova Series Helmets

SMK Helmets has launched the Nova series in India with two full-face models called Nova Solid and Nova Track. The helmets are now on sale through authorised dealers and online channels across the country. Prices start at Rs 4,000 for the Nova Solid and Rs 4,300 for the Nova Track. Both are offered in sizes from XS to XXL. The Nova range already forms part of SMK’s global portfolio and now joins the India line-up as the company expands its full-face helmet offering in the entry segment.

Both Nova variants use an Energy Impact Resistant Thermoplastic shell paired with a multi-density EPS liner. The helmets meet ECE 22.06, DOT and ISI certification requirements for sale in India and other markets. With this launch, SMK has expanded its domestic full-face portfolio and added two more certified options within its current range.

The visor setup includes an optically corrected shield with scratch resistance and a Pinlock 30 insert. A quick-release mechanism allows visor removal when needed. Ventilation is handled through chin and top air vents, along with a rear exhaust port. A wind protector and nose deflector are included as standard. The inner liner is removable and washable and supports use with prescription eyewear.

The Nova Solid is offered in single-tone colour options, while the Nova Track comes with graphic schemes and multiple colour choices. Both variants use two shell sizes across the range and are available in gloss and matte finishes, depending on the version selected. Core features remain the same across both helmets, with design and colour forming the main difference.

SMK had showcased the Nova series earlier at India Bike Week before bringing the helmets to the wider market. The India launch adds the range to the company’s domestic portfolio as it continues to expand its product line-up across segments. SMK operates under Studds Accessories Ltd and sells helmets in several international markets.

With the Nova Solid and Nova Track now available across India, this rollout expands the brand’s presence in the entry full-face segment and increases the number of certified helmet options available through its dealer network.
