Steelbird has launched its new helmet, the Tornado, at an attractive price of Rs 1,959. The protective gear is certified by both DOT and ISI, and is available in various colours and four sizes (S to XL). It features a dual-visor system, which includes an inner sunshield that riders can pull down when the sun is out to protect their eyes from the bright sunlight. It also includes an extra smoke visor, a dark-tinted option, which can be replaced with the standard clear one, for a shadier view on extremely sunny days.
Steelbird states that the outer visor has 'an easy-to-quick-release mechanism' which makes it simple to remove and switch for day or night rides.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director, Steelbird Helmets, said, 'Modern riders are looking for a helmet that does more—something that balances safety, comfort, and convenience.
