Suzuki Motorcycle India sold nearly 1.29 lakh units in May 2025, up 16% YoY, with domestic sales rising 17% to around 1.08 lakh units.

Suzuki Motorcycle India recorded a 16% year-on-year increase in sales for May 2025. The growth reflects steady demand across its product range and improved supply operations. This sales performance comes at a time when the two-wheeler market remains competitive and mixed in terms of segment-wise recovery. The company continues to serve both domestic and export markets, with consistent volumes contributing to the overall rise.

Suzuki Motorcycle India saw its total sales for May 2025 rise to nearly 1.29 lakh units, reflecting a 16% year-on-year improvement over the 1.11 lakh units sold in May 2024. Of the total, about 1.08 lakh units were sold in the domestic market – an increase of 17% compared to the 92,032 units sold during the same period last year.

The company’s export performance also saw an upward trend, with 21,116 units shipped overseas. This represents an 8% gain over the 19,840 units exported in May 2024. Together, these figures highlight Suzuki’s steady momentum across both domestic and global markets, supported by continued demand for its two-wheeler offerings.
The month of May marked a key milestone for Suzuki as the company began production of the e-Access electric scooter at its Gurgaon facility. This new EV is equipped with a 3.07kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery paired with a swingarm-mounted motor that delivers 8.49bhp and 15Nm of torque, with a top speed of 71km/h. Charging the battery takes about 4.5 hours to reach 80% and nearly 7 hours for a full charge using a standard charger, while fast charging cuts this down to approximately 1 hour 12 minutes and just over 2 hours, respectively.

The e-Access is designed for everyday comfort with a telescopic front suspension and twin rear shock absorbers. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tyres and features a front disc brake and rear drum brake for reliable stopping power. Practicality is enhanced with under-seat storage and a digital TFT screen that supports smartphone connectivity. Key features include turn-by-turn navigation, call/message alerts, three ride modes (Eco, Ride A, Ride B), and a reverse gear for added manoeuvrability.
