Tata Motors Post 27% YoY Sales Growth in October; Sells Over 60,000 Units

Tata Motors has announced that its total PV sales, including EVs, reached 61,295 units in October, showing a rise of 26.6% from 48,423 units sold in the same month last year. Domestic passenger vehicles, including electric models, accounted for 61,134 units, marking a 27% year-on-year increase. Meanwhile, the exports fell to 161 units from last year's 292 units, a 44.9% decline. The sales of electric cars, covering both domestic and international markets, surged 73.4% to 9,286 units, compared to 5,355 units sold previously. Tata Motors has stated that the SUVs played a key role in driving monthly sales, with over 47,000 units sold, representing an all-time high share of 77%. This performance underscores Tata Motors’ strong market traction and growing EV adoption across India.

Tata Motors October 2025 Sales: Key Highlights

Tata Motors disclosed that it gained significantly during the recent festive season, with robust retail demand driving record-breaking monthly registrations. Customers showed high enthusiasm for the brand’s diverse portfolio of passenger vehicles, reflecting growing confidence in Tata Motors. Between Navratri and Diwali, Tata Motors delivered over 1 lakh cars, marking a significant 33% year-on-year growth.

The Tata Nexon continued its remarkable growth trajectory, registering a notable 50% year-on-year volume increase. Tata Motors shared that the compact SUV's multi-powertrain setup, including petrol, diesel, and electric variants, has captured widespread customer interest.

Additionally, the Tata Harrier and the Safari reached a new milestone, with 7,000 units sold, driven by the excitement around the Adventure X edition and growing traction for Harrier.ev.
