Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles ended December 2025 on a strong note with domestic sales of 50,046 units, marking a year-on-year growth of 13.15 per cent over the 44,230 units sold in December 2024. Including exports, total wholesales reached 50,519 units. The momentum largely came from steady SUV demand, which continues to be the brand’s volume backbone. The numbers show stability rather than hype, and that matters in a market where sustained demand often says more than short-term bursts of excitement or discount-driven pushes. Electric vehicles continued to add weight to the overall performance. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles sold 6,906 EVs in December 2025, a 24 per cent increase compared to the same month last year.

For Q3 FY26, EV volumes climbed to 24,103 units. Models like the Nexon EV and Punch EV drove these numbers, showing how electric cars are now part of everyday buying decisions.

Looking at the full calendar year, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles recorded total sales of 587,218 units in 2025. Electric vehicles contributed 81,125 units to this figure. This marked the fifth consecutive year of record annual sales, with volumes coming from multiple segments rather than a single standout model.

Domestic sales accounted for 40,057 units, while international markets added 2,451 units. Q3 FY26 CV sales stood at 115,577 units, driven mainly by fleet replacement demand. Following the update, Tata Motors shares touched a record high of Rs 443.95, reflecting positive market sentiment.
