Tata Nexon, Tiago and More EVs Get Discounts of up to Rs 2.05 Lakh in September

As part of its ‘2 Million SUV Celebration’, Tata Motors has introduced a Green Bonus for several of its electric vehicle models, offering a substantial cash discount that continues from the previous month. Customers can avail themselves of discounts of up to Rs 2.05 lakh, making this an attractive opportunity for buyers considering switching to electric mobility. The offers, which include cash benefits, exchange bonuses, and special offers, aim to make Tata's EV lineup more accessible amidst the growing demand for eco-friendly transportation. Buyers of the Tata Nexon EV, Punch EV, and Tiago EV can benefit from this discount, with extra savings available for those purchasing the MY2023 versions. This limited-time offer is expected to accelerate the country's adoption of electric vehicles. Here's a breakdown of the potential savings on a new Tata EV this month.

Tata Punch EV: September Discounts

Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 30,000 on the Empowered variants of the Punch EV, equipped with the 7.2kW fast charger, and all Long Range variants with the 3.3kW charger. Other variants receive discounts of up to Rs 10,000. The Punch EV is priced between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 15.49 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom. The model is available with a 35kWh battery (365km MIDC range) or a 25kWh battery offering a range of up to 265km. As far as market rivalry is concerned, the compact SUV rivals the Citroen eC3. 

Tata Tiago EV: September Discounts

The homegrown carmaker's most budget-friendly electric vehicle, a competitor to the MG Comet, gets benefits of Rs 50,000 on the XT long-range (LR) variant. The higher-spec LR variants come with discounts ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000, while the MR variants can be purchased with up to Rs 10,000 off. Additionally, like the Nexon EV, the 2023 models are eligible for an extra Rs 15,000 discount. This all-electric hatchback is priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 11.89 lakh, with a certified MIDC range of up to 275km for the 24kWh battery and 221km for the 19.2kWh battery. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.

Tata Nexon EV: September Discounts

The top-of-the-line Tata Nexon EV Empowered+ LR variants are being offered with discounts of up to Rs 1.80 lakh this month. Except for the base Creative+ MR variant, which has a Rs 20,000 discount, all other variants come with discounts ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.2 lakh. Additionally, all 2023 models receive an extra Rs 25,000 discount. The Nexon EV is priced between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). The SUV comes with two battery pack options: a 30kWh unit with a 275km MIDC range and a 40.5kWh unit with a claimed range of 390km. In the Indian market, it locks horns with the Mahindra XUV400 and the recently launched MG Windsor.
