Pre-Facelift Tata Safari, Harrier Get Discounts of up to Rs 1.40 Lakh in December

The pre-facelifted version of the Safari gets maximum discounts and benefits of up to Rs 1.40 lakh, while the Harrier pre-facelift gets discounts of up to Rs 1.35 lakh.

With the year-end approaching, several manufacturers have started rolling out attractive discounts and benefits for new car buyers in India. Tata Motors, in particular, is offering some lucrative incentives worth up to Rs 1.40 lakh on select models & variants, which include the Harrier (Pre-facelift), Safari (Pre-facelift), Nexon (Existing Generation), Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, and the Punch (only offered with a Rs 3,000 corporate discount). All discounts and offers are available only for a limited period, and can be had in the form of a consumer discount, an exchange bonus, and a corporate offer. Note that these offers may vary depending on the region, dealership, and availability of stock. Kindly verify with your local dealer to avail of the same. 

Pre-Facelift Tata Safari (Discounts of up to Rs 1.40 Lakh)

The Tata Safari AT (with ADAS) gets maximum discounts of up to Rs 1.40 lakh, the break-up of which is as follows: a consumer discount of Rs 75,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 15,000. Both the Safari AT (without ADAS) and the Safari MT, meanwhile, can be had with the same discount figure of up to Rs 90,000.

Pre-Facelift Tata Harrier (Discounts of up to Rs 1.35 Lakh)

The Tata Harrier has discounts to the tune of Rs 1.35 lakh. Like the Safari, the Harrier AT (with ADAS) gets maximum benefits. These include a consumer discount of Rs 75,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 10,000. Additionally, the Harrier AT (without ADAS) and the Harrier MT are also available with benefits worth up to 80,000 each. 

Under the hood, both SUV siblings draw power from a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder Kryotec diesel engine that is BS6 Phase II-compliant. This engine can churn out 168bhp at 3,750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2,500rpm. For transmission duties, the models are compatible with both a six-speed automatic and a six-speed manual unit.

Pre-Facelift Tata Safari, Harrier: Features

The Tata Safari and the Harrier pre-facelifts come equipped with ADAS functionalities, including autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, rear collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot detection, lane departure warning, lane change alert, high beam assist, and so on.  

Additionally, the Safari offers a 10.24-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a seven-inch digital TFT instrument cluster, a wireless charger, a 360-degree surround view, an electric driver seat with memory function, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, depending on the variant. The Harrier, meanwhile, gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a six-way power adjustable driver seat with memory and welcome function, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, iRA-connected car technology, and more.

Tata Safari, Harrier Facelifts: Price

Tata launched updated versions of the Harrier and Safari in India in October this year. The former ranges between Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 24.49 lakh, while the latter starts at Rs 16.19 lakh and goes up to Rs 25.59 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
