In March this year, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) revived the Innova Crysta moniker and relaunched the model in India. The update comprised a slightly modified front fascia and the car is currently available at a starting price of Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Furthermore, the Crysta can be had in the G, GX, VX, and top-spec ZX trims. In a recent development, the manufacturer revised the waiting period for all the products in its India lineup. As of this month, there is a 30-week-long waiting period for the Innova Crysta MPV. This time frame is applicable across the country. However, to know more about the same, you can visit your nearest authorised Toyota dealership.

The ZX is the only one of the four variants that is offered in a 7-seater layout; the other three trims come in both 7- and 8-seat options. A wireless door lock with a jack-knife key, a speedometer with MID, manual air conditioning, a black fabric seat cover, interior-colored door handles, a steering wheel with a silver ornament, three SRS airbags, vehicle stability control, an immobiliser to prevent theft, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, brake assist, seat belt warning, door ajar warning, and other features are all included in the 2023 Innova Crysta's standard feature package. Toyota Innova Crysta: Engine and Transmission

The 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta has a 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder, turbodiesel engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine was tweaked to comply with BS6 Phase 2 and RDE emission rules. The oil burner now produces a maximum torque of 360Nm and a peak power of 148bhp. The new model no longer comes with the 2.7-litre petrol unit or the 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Various colour options, including Silver, Superwhite, Attitude Black, White Pearl Crystal Shine, and Avant-Garde Bronze, are offered for the new Innova Crysta diesel. The MPV further comes with Eco and Power driving modes.

Toyota Innova Crysta: Exterior Highlights

The revamped Innova Crysta received substantial visual changes upon its return. The front end underwent the most changes, including a new, square grille and a revised bumper design. The new chrome grille features chrome surrounds and horizontal slates that reach all the way to the grille's lower portion on the bumper. The fog lights and indicators on the bumper are still low, and more chrome components have been added to the sides. The Innova Crysta maintains its conventional profile. The mid-range model has 16-inch single-tone alloy wheels with chrome door and wheel embellishments. The top-of-the-line version, on the other hand, comes with 17-inch five-split-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels. The vertical tailboard, roof spoiler, and bumper of the Innova Crysta are identical to those of the 2022 model. There have been no significant changes in design to the vehicle's rear side.
