McLaren Riviera-Inspired F1 Livery

McLaren has revealed a new Formula 1 livery for the 2025 Monaco and Spanish Grands Prix, celebrating its historic legacy in the sport. The design pays tribute to the M7A, the car that gave Bruce McLaren his first F1 victory at the 1968 Belgian Grand Prix. The updated livery blends McLaren’s traditional papaya and black colours with heritage-inspired elements. Cryptocurrency partner OKX features prominently on the sidepods. McLaren’s 2025 Formula 1 season has been impressive, with five wins in the first seven races. The team currently leads both the constructors' and drivers’ standings. Oscar Piastri has emerged as a top contender, winning four races and topping the driver leaderboard. Despite a recent loss to Red Bull at Imola, McLaren remains a strong title challenger heading into Monaco and Spain.

McLaren has a history of unveiling special liveries at the Monaco Grand Prix. In 2021, the team showcased a Gulf-inspired design that gained wide attention. In 2023, McLaren introduced the ‘Triple Crown’ livery, celebrating its victories at the Monaco Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500, and 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In 2024, McLaren paid tribute to Ayrton Senna with a unique livery honouring the driver who holds the most wins in Monaco. The 2025 livery continues this tradition, merging the team’s rich heritage with its current performance in Formula 1. Each design reflects McLaren’s ongoing effort to connect its past achievements with its present-day success.

Louise McEwen, Chief Marketing Officer, McLaren Racing, said: 'We’re always proud to be able to celebrate our storied legacy. Working with OKX on this latest livery enhancement is a great way to not only celebrate this history, but also the innovation and forward-thinking nature that inspires both McLaren and OKX brands. I can’t wait to see the cars on track over the next two race weekends.'

The design pays tribute to the team’s legacy while reflecting its strong performance in the 2025 season.
