Later on, the company also introduced its new flagship scooter, Trend E – a premium electric scooter with higher range and speed – in India. The Maharashtra-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer chose&nbsp;the 2019 Pune Motor Show to showcase its first-ever concept models.

In March 2019, <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/avan-motors-india-launches-the-trend-e-at-56900-105732/">Avan Motors India had launched their third product, called the Trend E</a>. The Trend E electric scooter&nbsp;is powered by an 800W BLDC motor, which runs on a 48V 24Ah Li-ion battery pack. At the recently concluded Pune Motor Show, the company gave numerous enthusiasts a glimpse of their two new concept models, which are yet to be named.

However, their specs have been revealed. Of the two, the less powerful concept model is&nbsp;powered by an 800W motor, which draws its power from a&nbsp;60V 35Ah Li-ion&nbsp;battery. It is capable of delivering a range of 50-80km &amp; can achieve a top speed of 45km/h. The other, more powerful concept model, runs on a&nbsp;72V 22Ah Li-ion battery, which powers a bigger 1,200W motor. This allows it to achieve a top speed of 60km/h, whilst delivering&nbsp;a riding range of up to 200km. Both models, however, will be fitted with front disc brakes &amp; a drum setup&nbsp;at the rear.&nbsp;

Sharing his thoughts on the unveiling,&nbsp;Mr Pankaj Tiwari, India Business Head at Avan Motors said, 'We are thrilled to reveal our new concept e-vehicles through a platform as prestigious as the Pune Motor Show. The team at Avan Motors has left no stone unturned to ideate the perfect combination of best-in-class features and stunning design. We are anticipating positive reviews for both concepts after which we will move on to the production phase. Currently, we are in the R&amp;D phase which will continue until we create a leading-edge product that can disrupt the Indian sustainable mobility space.'

At present, the company's three e-scooters (Xero, Xero+ &amp; Trend E) are all powered by&nbsp;48V 24Ah Li-ion battery packs. Thus, these concepts are likely to usher in more heavy-duty &amp; more powerful products in the near future.

Avan Motors India showcases two new e-scooter concepts

The Maharashtra-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer chose the 2019 Pune Motor Show to showcase its first-ever concept models. Of the two, the less powerful concept model is powered by an 800W motor & the bigger model is driven by a 1,200W motor.

After its unveiling last week, Avan Motors India has launched the Trend E smart electric scooter at an ex-showroom price of&nbsp;₹ 56,900; the dual-battery version has been priced at&nbsp;₹ 81,269.

Avan Motors India has launched the Trend E smart electric scooter in India. The launch took place&nbsp;at the ongoing BV Tech Expo India&nbsp;2019 in New Delhi. Bookings&nbsp;are open&nbsp;for the Trend E at&nbsp;₹ 1,100 on all 33 Avan&nbsp;dealerships across the country and bookings made before 31st March 2019 will be eligible for immediate deliveries. The Trend E can be purchased in a Red-Black, Black-Red&nbsp;or White-Blue colour combination.

Deemed as the brand's most advanced scooter to date, the Trend E features advanced features like a removable lithium-ion battery pack and also has the option to attach a second battery pack simultaneously. With a single battery, the Trend E is capable of reaching a top speed of 45km/h, with a claimed riding range of 60km. With the second battery pack hooked in, the range increases to 110km, with no change to the top speed. Avan claims that the Trend E's battery takes anywhere between 2-4 hours to charge up.

In terms of mechanical specs, the Trend E&nbsp;hydraulic telescopic front suspension and a coil spring setup at the&nbsp;rear. Sporting alloy wheels, the braking power comes from a single disc at the front and a drum&nbsp;brake setup at the rear. The scooter has a max load limit of 150kg.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Pankaj Tiwari, Business Development Head at Avan Motors said, 'The Avan Motors team has worked extensively on creating the Trend E scooter as a vehicle that is suitable for Indian roads and meets the requirements of consumers with its combination of technology, power and futuristic design.
