BMW F900 GS Engine and Transmission

This motorcycle is powered by an 895cc water-cooled 2-cylinder four-stroke engine having four-valve per-cylinder configuration. It boasts two overhead camshafts, a dry sump lubrication system, and a closed-loop 3-way catalytic converter emission control system. It develops a peak power of 103.25bhp at 8500 rpm and an utmost torque of 93 Nm at 6750 rpm. The power transmission task is handled by a six-speed manual gearbox that has an adjustable gear shifter.

Its suspension setup incorporates a USD front fork with manual preload adjustability and rebound and compression adjustability traits. The rear suspension is a cast aluminium dual swing arm with a central WAD spring strut. It also has hydraulically adjustable spring pre-load and adjustable rebound damping. There is a 21-inch front wheel with a 90mm wide tyre and a 17-inch rear wheel with a 150mm tyre. On the braking front, it gets twin floating discs in the front and a single disc in the rear.

The upswept exhaust pipe has been placed on the right and the rear part of the frame is exposed. The rear end of the bike showcases a sleek tail lamp, striking turn indicators, and a number plate illuminator.
