Ducati Multistrada V4 Exterior Details

The Ducati Multistrada V4 still represents the iconic Multistrada silhouette. However, the new variant gets a few minor design updates to set it apart from the outgoing model. The bike is now sharper in design, gets a massive 22-litre fuel tank, and a compact tail section that is not only reminiscent of its sports bike roots but also makes it a better off-roader. The bike also features an intricate duct system that channels air around the bike. The latest Multistrada gets a 19-inch front rim compared to the previous variant's 17-inch.

Ducati Multistrada V4 Engine & Transmission

The new Ducati Multistrada V4 runs on a completely new powerhouse engine birthed at the factories in Bologna. The ADV Tourer gets a 1158cc V4 Granturismo motor that makes 170PS at 10500rpm and 125Nm of torque at 8750rpm. For safety, the bike comes loaded with rider aids such as cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Vehicle Hold Control (VHC).

Ducati Multistrada V4 Handling

The Ducati Multistrada now sits on a similar aluminium monocoque chassis as the rest of Ducati's line up, leaving the old steel trellis frame officially in the history books. The new 19-inch rim on the front gets beefy 50mm USD forks supporting it, and a fully adjustable mono-shock on the rear. The Multistrada's S variant gets a semi-active Skyhook Suspension (DSS) that even has an auto-levelling function. The bike gets disc brakes front and rear.  

Ducati Multistrada V4 Features

The S variant of the Ducati Multistrada V4 comes loaded with twice as many features as its base variant. First of all, the Ducati Multistrada V4 S gets all-new radar technology that enables the bike with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD). This is the first motorcycle in the Indian market to ever get this feature. A detailed 6-axis IMU enables the bike with rider aids such as Cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Ducati Traction Control (DTC). The S variant takes it a step further with features such as Cornering Lights (DCL), Vehicle Hold Control (VHC) and Ducati's Skyhook Suspension. To control its various electronics, the Multistrada gets a 5-inch, full-colour TFT display with map navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, whereas the S variant gets a 6.3-inch display. The bike also gets a small storage space on top of the tank to store and charge cell phones.

Ducati Multistrada V4 Price & Variants 

The Ducati Multistrada V4 gets two variants in India. A standard variant priced at ₹18.99 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) and a Ducati Multistrada V4 S variant priced at ₹23.1 lakhs (Ex-Showroom). The bike gets three colour options - Ducati Red, Ducati Red (S) and Aviator Grey (S).
