Kawasaki Z H2 Highlights
The Kawasaki Z H2 comes across as one of the most expensive bikes the manufacturer sells in the Indian market. The H2 was first unveiled back in October 2019. In terms of design, the H2 is an absolutely aggressive motorcycle, and what adds to that aggressive appeal of this supercharged naked motorcycle is a sharp design replete with a mean-looking LED headlamp at the front, aggressive bodywork on the side, a floating fly screen, and contrasty trellis frame finished in the family green shade.
The 2021 Z H2 is an aerodynamic motorcycle that’s designed in such a way it screams aggression and grabs eyeballs on the move. In terms of dimensions, the Z H2 is 2,085mm in length, 810mm in width, and 1,130mm in height. The kerb weight is 239kg, and the ground clearance is 140mm. The fuel tank, lastly, has a filling capacity of 19-litres.
Engine & Transmission
Powering the Kawasaki Z H2 is a 998cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which churns out 197bhp and 137Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual transmission. Moreover, the Kawasaki Z H2 mileage is expected to be around 15km/l.
The Z H2 rides on Showa SFF-BP Fork with rebound damping & adjustable compression at the front and a uni-trak with gas-charged shock suspension at the back. The H2 is based on a trellis, high tensile steel frame. Further, the bike gets a 120/70 ZR17 M/C section tyre at the front and a wider 190/55 ZR17 M/C section tyre at the rear. The braking power comes from dual 320mm discs at the front and a single 260mm disc at the rear.
The Kawasaki Z H2 new model comes loaded with electronic gizmos. For starters, the bike gets Kawasaki Launch Control, Traction Control, Cruise control, and four riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport and Rider. The safety equipment also includes dual-channel ABS as standard. All this equipment is backed by a full-TFT instrument cluster that gets Bluetooth connectivity and also shows the odometer, speedometer, tachometer, maintenance schedule, and all other useful information. All the lighting equipment on the H2, moreover, is backed up by LEDs.
