Hero Karzima XMR Specifications

The indigenous automobile manufacturer offered many “firsts” in the 2023 Hero Karizma XMR. Firstly, it is the first Hero bike to have a steel trellis frame, which is designed to support Hero’s first liquid-cooled, DOHC Motor, 210-cc, single-cylinder engine. Secondly, going by papers, this homegrown sports bike is tuned to churn out some healthy figures, which are 25.15 bhp at 9250 rpm and 20.4 Nm of peak torque at 7250 rpm. It makes the rear wheel spin via a six-speed manual transmission. Speaking of transmission, this bike boasts the assist and slipper clutch.

Last but not least, the Hero Karizma XMR has an 11-litre fuel tank capacity, which is a decent capacity. In addition, the reserve fuel tank capacity is rated at 2.2 litres.

As far as fuel economy is concerned, the Hero Karizma XMR is yet to undergo the mileage test conducted by ARAI.

Keeping the figures aside, let’s now delve into the mechanical offering. That said, the Hero Karizma XMR stands on a 37mm telescopic fork with an anti-friction brush at the front and a gas-charged monoshock with a six-step pre-load adjustable suspension setup at the rear. In addition, the offered suspension setup works in tandem with dual disc brakes. The size of the front disc brake and the rear disc brake is rated at 300mm and 230mm, respectively.

Furthermore, the Hero Karizma XMR runs on 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends, while the tyre profiles are kept different. The front has a tyre profile of 100/80, while the rear has a tyre profile of 140/70.  

Hero Karizma XMR Design

Since this is a new generation, the Hero Karizma XMR has arrived in an all-new avatar. It has received new styling elements with cuts and creases across its body panels. These design elements make this homegrown bike more appealing and imposing from every angle. It is not a fully faired bike, but the design team of Hero MotoCorp has done an impressive job of giving the bike a sporty appeal in every possible way. However, the front fascia of the Hero Karizma XMR incorporates a sharp nose, which has an LED headlight topped by the first-in-segment adjustable windscreen. There are also clip-on handles, a stubby exhaust, LED DRLs, and LED indicators, giving the bike a quintessential sport bike appearance.

Hero Karizma XMR Features

Currently, the Hero Karizma XMR has only one variant, which bags a long list of new-age offerings. It is equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster, which shows relevant readings, such as speed, RPM, distance made, and fuel level. It also has a digital clock. Besides that, the 2023 Hero Karizma XMR also offers a low fuel indicator, an automatic headlight, an LED headlight, an LED tail/brake light, an LED turn lamp, a pass light, etc.

Other notable offerings include a USB charging port, mobile app connectivity, Bluetooth, and GPS with turn-by-turn navigation. As mentioned earlier, it also boasts an adjustable windscreen. This homegrown two-wheeler also has an electric start system, a killswitch, a hazard indicator switch, a stepped seat, and a pillion seat with footrests and a pillion grabrail.

On the safety front, the Hero Karizma XMR is also the first Hero bike to be equipped with a dual-channel ABS.

The 2023 iteration of the Hero Karizma XMR can be chosen from three colour options: Iconic Yellow, Turbo Red and Matte Phantom Black. It has only one variant on offer, which has a similar pricing to its direct rivals that are mentioned above.
