This bike is equipped with a liquid-cooled four-stroke SI engine of 1082.96cc that has two cylinders with four valves per cylinder operated by a dual overhead camshaft. The engine gets paired with an automatic dual-clutch transmission system through multi-plate wet clutches and has a digital transistor electronic ignition system. The ‘MT’ variant of this Honda racing bike gets a manual transmission system with a wet multi-plate clutch instead of DCT; both variants come with six gears on offer.
