Jawa Standard Highlights
The Standard, when it was first launched, was the flagship offering from Jawa motorcycles in India. The Standard boasts a retro 50s design, replete with a round headlamp at the front, chrome side mirrors, chrome finished fuel tank, classic round instrument cluster mounted on top of the headlamp unit, and wheels finished in golden on the maroon shade.
Jawa Standard Exterior Details
The Standard boasts of a classic and retro 50s design language. The Standard is a 2,122mm long, 789mm wide, and 1,165mm tall motorcycle. The kerb weight is a low 170kg with a low fuel tank capacity of 14-litres.
Jawa Standard Engine & Transmission
The Jawa Standard features a 293cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which churns out 27bhp of power and 28Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Moreover, the claimed Jawa Standard mileage is 37.5km/l.
Jawa Standard Handling
The Standard is based on a double-cradle chassis. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic hydraulic forks at the front and a gas canister – twin shock hydraulic at the back. The bike comes equipped with a 90/90-18 section tyre at the front and a wider 120/70-17 section tyre at the back. The braking duties are the responsibility of a 280mm disc at the front and a 153mm drum at the back.
Jawa Standard Features
The Jawa Standard new model comes equipped with a single integrated cluster, which shows live speed, fuel levels, and an odometer. The headlamp is a conventional halogen unit while the taillamp is an LED. The safety features include a single-channel ABS as standard while dual-channel ABS is a part of the safety net on higher trims.
