<p><strong>Harley-Davidson’s motorcycle production facility in Haryana will soon become&nbsp;the manufacturing plant for LML two-wheelers, which is likely to make a comeback by the end of this year.</strong></p>

<p>In September 2021, <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/lml-brand-coming-back-as-an-ev-player-110024/">LML announced its comeback, but this time Lohia Machines Limited (LML) will focus mainly on EVs</a>. Now, LML has partnered with Saera Electric, which until recently produced Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The infrastructure, expertise, and know-how of making an electric vehicle are what Saera Electric will bring to the table. With this move, LML plans to acquire Harley-Davidson’s manufacturing facility in Bawal, Haryana.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The manufacturing plant is spread over 2.17 lakh sq ft and has a claimed capacity of producing 18,000 units per month. By the end of 2025, LML plans to become a complete ‘Make in India’ company. Expect LML's first all-electric two-wheeler to make its media appearance by the end of this year.</p>

<p>Commenting on the partnership, Dr Yogesh Bhatia, CEO of LML, said, 'We are very pleased to announce this important collaboration with one of the most reputed manufacturing names in the two-wheeler and auto segment. Saera was our first choice because the company holds unparalleled expertise and reputation with some of the world’s premier auto brands. LML to produce EVs at former Harley-Davidson production facility

Harley-Davidson’s motorcycle production facility in Haryana will soon be the manufacturing plant for LML two-wheelers, which is likely to make a nostalgic comeback by the end of this year.

<p><strong>LML has announced its comeback and the brand hints to target the EV makers such as the Bajaj, Ather, Ola, Revolt and Simple One.</strong></p>

<p>Before Honda Activa and Hero Splendor became household names, Bajaj’s scooters were the popular commuter choice, and a few opted for the LML scooters. While Bajaj brought back its popular Chetak brand as an EV in the modern age, it’s time for LML to step into the new era.</p>

<p>Lohia Machinery Limited (LML) has announced that the company will make a comeback and the firm has also informed that this time it will exclusively be an electric two-wheeler maker.</p>

<p>The information at hand is very limited but the manufacturer confirms that it has been backed by “various technology companies to introduce LML in the EV market”, however, no names or connections have been disclosed so far.</p>

<p>“We’re extremely excited to make a significant comeback. We are actively working on the product development strategies in order to introduce a highly innovative product equipped with the best of technology to enable &amp; strengthen the urban mobility space. We would like to empower the upper-middle and urban segments of society with our range of premium products to drive the change.” said Yogesh Bhatia, MD and CEO, LML Electric.</p>

<p>It is safe to believe that LML Electric’s first product could be an all-electric scooter and the brand plans on rivalling the Bajaj Chetak just like the yesteryears. It remains to be seen if LML Electric brings along a sporty electric motorcycle concept with enough performance and the looks that give a&nbsp;callback to the LML Laser from the past.</p>
