Engine & Transmission
The TVS Radeon gets a 109cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing 8.2bhp of power and 8.7Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. The TVS Radeon mileage, at 69.3km/l, suggests that it’s a judicious sipper.
The TVS Radeon gets a 2.75x18 section tyre at the front and a 3.00x18 section tyre at the rear. The bike is based on a single cradle tubular chassis and its suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic oil damper at the front and a 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber at the back. The braking power comes from a 130mm drum at the front and a 110mm drum at the rear.
The TVS Radeon new model comes equipped with a square-shaped instrument cluster – which certainly reminds of the Vitara Brezza’s instrument cluster – with an analogue speedometer and an analogue fuel gauge. As for the electricals, the Radeon comes fitted with conventional halogen bulbs for the headlamp as well as the taillamp. There is an LED DRL, too, positioned right below the headlamp.
